Everything You Need to Know

Explore clear answers to the questions people ask most about LeadPull.

What is LeadPull?

LeadPull is a Google Maps lead extractor. It helps you turn a Google Maps business search into an organised list of potential customers. Instead of copying each business name, phone number, address and website by hand, LeadPull collects the details for you and saves them in your account.

Which website does LeadPull extract leads from?

LeadPull is built specifically for Google Maps. It does not extract search results from Yell, Bing Maps or random business directories. This clear focus lets us make the Google Maps extraction experience easier to use and easier to improve.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

No. LeadPull uses the visible Google Maps website inside the LeadPull Browser, so you do not need to create a Google Cloud project or pay for the Google Maps or Places API. Google Maps itself is still the source of the business listings.

How do I extract business leads from Google Maps?

Install LeadPull Browser, sign in, open Google Maps and search for the type of business and location you want, such as “plumbers in Manchester”. Keep the results open and start LeadPull. The browser works through the available listings, saves each lead automatically and shows the campaign while it runs.

What information can the Google Maps extractor collect?

When the information is available, LeadPull can collect the business name, category, full address, phone number, website domain, Google Maps URL, rating, review count and other listing details. Paid plans can also visit the business website to discover email addresses, extra phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, social profiles and named contacts shown on the site.

How does website enrichment work?

If a Google Maps listing has a website, LeadPull checks useful pages such as Home, Contact, About, Team, Leadership, Staff, Locations and Support. It gives priority to clear contact links and structured business data. Enrichment happens automatically when the plan includes it, and every discovered value keeps its source page and discovery date.

Will every Google Maps lead have an email address?

No. Google Maps does not normally show email addresses, and some businesses do not publish one on their website. LeadPull can only collect information that is available on the listing or the business's public website. A lead with no public email is saved as “no data” instead of being filled with a made-up address.

Can LeadPull find more than one email address or phone number?

Yes. LeadPull stores a primary email and phone number plus additional emails and phone numbers when they are found. The Saved Leads table shows the main value with a “+ more” count, while exports can include numbered columns and combined fields for all available contact details.

Does LeadPull save leads automatically?

Yes. Each Google Maps result is saved as it is extracted, and enrichment updates the saved lead as new contact details are found. You do not need to press a separate save button. Local storage protects work on the computer, and signed-in campaign data is synced securely to the Saved Leads dashboard.

Where do I view and export my Google Maps leads?

Open Dashboard, then choose Saved Leads. You can search and filter the table before exporting. Exports are created from the dashboard rather than the Google Maps side panel, so every campaign can feed one clean lead list. CSV and XLSX formats are supported.

Does LeadPull remove duplicate businesses?

LeadPull compares useful details such as the Google Maps URL, phone number, business name, address and website. This helps it update an existing lead instead of saving the same business again. The level of automatic deduplication available depends on your plan.

Can I run Google Maps searches for different towns or industries?

Yes. You can run searches such as “dentists in Bristol”, “roofers in Leeds” or “accountants in Lisbon”. Each search becomes a campaign, and the results can be kept together in Saved Leads. Your plan controls how many leads you can extract and how quickly campaigns are paced.

Is there a free Google Maps lead extractor plan?

Yes. LeadPull Scout is free and lets you extract up to 20 leads each day using one search term and one location per search. It includes basic business details, local Saved Leads and CSV or XLSX export, so you can try the main workflow before choosing a paid plan.

What is the difference between Hunter and Engine?

Hunter is made for regular local prospecting and includes up to 15,000 extracted leads per month, multiple searches, campaign queuing and automatic website enrichment. Engine is made for larger campaigns and includes up to 60,000 extracted leads per month, isolated browser sessions, higher rate limits, automatic deduplication, campaign queuing and bulk tools.

What is an isolated browser session?

On supported Engine campaigns, LeadPull creates a separate browser session for that campaign and routes it through a managed residential connection. The Google Maps campaign stays visible in LeadPull Browser, but it is kept apart from your normal browsing session. One stable connection is used for the campaign instead of changing the connection during every click.

Do I need to sign in to a Google account?

LeadPull does not require your Google username or password. Google Maps searches can usually be viewed while signed out. For managed Engine sessions, do not sign in to a personal Google account because the campaign session is designed to stay separate from your normal browser identity.

How fast does Google Maps extraction run?

Speed depends on the plan, the number of Google Maps results, website response times and whether enrichment is available. LeadPull spaces work out and uses hourly and daily safety limits. If Google shows a security check, LeadPull pauses at the current result and keeps the campaign position. Complete the challenge yourself in the visible browser and the campaign resumes automatically at a safer pace. LeadPull never tries to bypass a CAPTCHA.

Is Google Maps lead extraction allowed?

LeadPull includes pacing, limits and stop controls, but no extraction tool can give legal permission for every use. You are responsible for following Google’s current terms, privacy rules and marketing laws in the countries where you work. Only contact people for a lawful business reason and always respect opt-outs.

What is the difference between email discovery and email verification?

Email discovery means finding an address published on a business website. Email verification checks whether that address looks valid and whether the receiving mail system appears able to accept it. Verification uses separate credits and can return deliverable, undeliverable or unknown/risky. No honest email checker can promise that every message will reach an inbox.

Does phone formatting use verification credits?

No. Cleaning phone numbers, adding country calling codes, creating an international E.164 format, separating extensions and removing duplicate formats are free. Live checks for carrier, line type and activity use paid phone-verification credits. LeadPull shows the credit cost before you confirm a check.

Can LeadPull find business owners or decision-makers?

LeadPull can save a person or department name when it is clearly shown on the business website, for example on an About, Team or Leadership page. Not every company publishes this information, so decision-maker names are helpful enrichment rather than a guaranteed field. LeadPull does not invent names that it cannot source.

How accurate is the extracted business data?

LeadPull records what Google Maps and the business website show at the time of the campaign. Businesses can move, change numbers or publish old details, so review important leads before contacting them. Source URLs, discovery dates and confidence information help you understand where enriched data came from.

Where is my lead data stored?

LeadPull Browser keeps durable local storage on your computer so active extraction work is not held only in memory. When you are signed in, account-scoped campaigns and leads sync securely to your hosted dashboard. One customer cannot view another customer’s saved leads.

Which computers can run LeadPull Browser?

LeadPull Browser is available for Windows x64 computers and Apple-silicon Macs. Download the correct installer, open LeadPull, then sign in with your LeadPull account. Your active plan and device allowance are applied automatically; there is no licence key to copy into the browser.

What should I do if LeadPull cannot see Google Maps results?

First, make sure a normal Google Maps results list is visible and the search has finished loading. Keep the results open, check that you are signed in to LeadPull and try the campaign again. If Google shows a CAPTCHA, complete it in the visible browser; LeadPull keeps your place and resumes automatically. If the problem remains, open Get Support inside LeadPull and include your operating system, LeadPull version and the search you tried.

Can one campaign include several search terms and locations?

Paid plans can combine up to five business search terms with several selected locations. LeadPull creates the term-and-location jobs, runs them in order and saves every result under the same campaign. If the app closes or a job pauses, its saved position lets it continue without starting the whole campaign again.

How does LeadPull find more results in a large city?

A broad Google Maps search may stop showing new listings in a busy area. When a paid campaign looks full, LeadPull can divide the location into smaller postcode areas or map cells and continue searching them. Matching place identities are deduplicated so the same business is not saved or charged twice. Smaller towns are left alone so unnecessary searches are not added.

How does the campaign queue work?

Hunter and Engine can queue campaigns behind the one already running. The next campaign starts automatically when the active campaign finishes, while hourly and daily safety limits still apply. LeadPull does not advertise calendar scheduling; the queue is for running saved campaigns safely in sequence.

How do verification credits work?

Email and phone checks use one shared verification-credit balance. The current cost is shown before you confirm an individual or bulk check, and recently cached results are reused to avoid charging for the same check again. Website contact discovery and free phone formatting do not use verification credits.

Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel my plan?

Monthly plans can be changed or cancelled from Account & Billing. An upgrade takes effect immediately and Stripe calculates any amount due; a downgrade is prepared for the next renewal so you keep the plan already paid for. Annual upgrades charge the prorated difference for the remaining term. Annual downgrades need Support so your current paid access and renewal are handled correctly. Cancelling stops the next renewal and does not delete your saved leads.

How do LeadPull Browser updates work?

LeadPull checks its signed release catalogue and shows an update notice in the dashboard when a newer supported version is available. You choose when to download and install it. Your account, hosted campaigns and saved leads remain linked to the same login.

How do I contact LeadPull Support?

Open Get Support inside LeadPull Browser or visit the Support page. Choose a topic, describe the problem and include the search or campaign involved. The request is sent to [email protected]. Never include a password, full card number or private Google-account details.
